Your body is biometric data. We treat it that way.
For a product that reads your proportions, privacy isn't fine print. It's the product. Here's exactly what happens to your data, in plain language.

On-device by default
Scans and photos are processed on your phone. The heavy lifting (reading proportions, palette, and fit) happens locally. Raw images don't leave your device unless you ask them to.

Derived data only
When something does sync, it's the derived measurements you approve, not raw photos or scans. Cloud backup is strictly opt-in, encrypted, and reversible.

Real deletion
Hit delete and your scans, embeddings, and derived traits go with it, not a soft flag in a database. Deletion means deletion, and we'll confirm it.

Built to the law, on purpose
We designed to the strictest biometric rules from day one.
BIPA (Illinois): informed consent before any biometric capture, a published retention-and-destruction schedule, and no selling of biometric data. Ever.
GDPR Article 9: biometric data used to identify a person is a special category. We treat your scan that way: explicit consent, data minimization, and a clean right to erasure.
Texas CUBI: capture only with notice and consent, protect it, and destroy it on a reasonable timeline. Baked into how the app is built, not bolted on.
On bodies and sensitive traits: every read is a styling guess you can edit, never a verdict, never a health claim, never an identity label.

What we collect
Your AR scan and any photos you provide (processed on-device), the derived measurements and style preferences you approve, the prompts you type, your reactions to results, and basic account details like your email. We don't buy data about you from third parties.
What leaves your device
By default, only the derived measurements and preferences needed to return recommendations, never raw scans or photos, unless you explicitly enable encrypted cloud backup. Recommendation requests are sent to our API to be ranked and returned.
Retention & deletion
You can delete your profile and all associated data at any time from the app. Deletion purges your profile, derived traits, and feedback from our systems on a documented schedule. We keep the minimum required for legal and security obligations, and nothing more.
Your rights
Access, correct, export, or erase your data; withdraw consent for biometric processing; and opt out of any non-essential use. Exercising a right never degrades the core product beyond what that data enabled.
